Some unidentified men shot dead Iranian deputy minister of industry, mines and commerce here Sunday evening, Xinhua reported.
Safdar Rahmatabadi, the parliamentary deputy of Industry, Mines and Commerce Ministry, was shot dead in his car in the east of Tehran, said the report.
The motivation behind the incident was being probed.
