The RPF on Thursday claimed responsibility for the Wednesday's attack that took place at Moirang Purel, Imphal East district.
IRB personnel from Chandigarh have been undergoing a condensed two-month training course in counter insurgency operations in Manipur.
The People's Liberation Army, the military wing of the Revolutionary People's Front had planted two bombs at the fringe paddy fields of the main road.
