Bologna (Italy), Aug 6 (IANS/AKI) An eight-year-old boy bled to death in northern Italy on Friday in what appears to have been tragic accident when he was alone at the family apartment.
The boy's mother had gone out shopping with his sister when a window in the apartment apparently shattered and a shard of glass cut an artery in his leg, causing a fatal haemorrhage, investigators said.
The boy had already died of blood loss when his mother returned.
