Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik on Monday appointed K.K. Sharma, a 1983 batch Indian Administrative service (IAS) officer, as his fourth advisor, official sources said.
Sharma has served as the secretary higher education in Union HRD Ministryand also as the Chief Secretary of Goa.
At present there are only three advisors to the governor -- B.B. Vyas, Khurshid Ahmad Ganai and K. Vijay Kumar.
The portfolios of the advisors are likely to be shuffled to accommodate the new advisor, who belongs to Billawar in Kathua district.
