Kingston (Jamaica), Nov 18 (IANS/CMC) The Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) plans to keep the 'Reggae Boyz' active despite missing out qualification for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
The team which is into a two-match friendly against Trinidad and Tobago may also play one of the four CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers next month, according to coach Winfried Schafer.
Schafer didn't identify the country but said that there have been interests from one of the qualifiers from the region to play Jamaica.
"Maybe we play against a big team, Honduras, USA or Mexico. One of them wants to play against us," he said.
JFF president Captain Horace Burrell said that they have plans to play at least one friendly each month as part of their development programme.
Jamaica suffered a 0-1 loss to Trinidad and Tobago in the first of the two friendly internationals and both teams will meet again at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain Tuesday.
