Model Jasmine Bhasin has been roped in as the lead in the upcoming show "Tashan-e-Ishq".

Jasmine will be playing Twinkle, a fun bubbly drama queen and a total Punjabi, on the Zee TV show. Her character is fearless, feisty, kind-hearted and compassionate.

The show relates the love story of Yuvraj (Zain Imam) and Twinkle, set against the backdrop of Punjab where their mothers -- two ambitious and competitive businesswomen Anita Luthra and Leela Taneja -- have personal and professional scores to settle.

Also joining the cast of the show is actor Bhupinder Singh, who will be seen portraying Yuvraj's father. He was last seen playing the role of a father in "Ek Haseena Thi".
