Thousands of BJP workers sang patriotic songs and raised slogans like 'Bharat Mata ki Jai', here on Saturday during BJP's Kamal Sandesh Motorcycle Maharally, which was flagged off by Union Minister for HRD and Lok Sabha election in-charge for Rajasthan, Prakash Javadekar.
Soon after flagging off the rally, Javadekar was seen sitting as a pillion rider on a bike, being driven by former State Minister Arun Chaturvedi.
Speaking on the occasion, Javadekar said the bike rally has 10-25 participants from each booth of the state. The rally is being taken out in all 200 Assembly seats of the state and is witnessing a participation of thousands of BJP workers, he added.
Union Minister of State Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore participated in the rally in Jhotwara Assembly area.
Rathore said: "We are taking out this rally as the country is celebrating Shaurya Diwas today. This rally has proven that youth of the country are celebrating the respect India has earned by giving a befitting reply to our neighbouring nation. We as a country salute the forces."
The befitting reply to our enemies is the consequence of a strong leadership at the Centre, he added.
State BJP president Madanlal Saini participated in the rally in Jhunjhunu, while former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje participated in the rally in Jhalawad.
