Bihar's ruling Janata Dal-United (JD-U) said on Thursday that its Grand Alliance was heading "for a resounding mandate" in the assembly elections.
"This is a result of our positive campaigning and the development face of (Chief Minister) Nitish Kumar," JD-U spokesman K.C. Tyagi told IANS.
"All the tactics and intended foul play seems to have gone against the BJP," he said.
"I expect a huge win for our alliance," he said. The Grand Alliance also includes the RJD and the Congress. "The BJP appears to have sensed its debacle."
