Young talent Jennifer Lawrence turned out to be an early winner at the 71st Golden Globe Awards held here Sunday as she picked the trophy for being the best supporting actress in "American Hustle".
The 23-year-old was awarded for playing wife of actor Christian Bale in the movie. The trophy was handed over to her by actors Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock.
In the movie, Lawrence has even shared an onscreen kiss with co-star Amy Adams.
Others who were nominated in the best supporting actress - motion picture category included Julia Roberts, Sally Hawkins and June Squibb.
