Jet Airways cuts domestic business class fares

In a special monsoon offer opening on Monday, Jet Airways cut its business class ticket prices by a flat 20 percent for long-distance travel (above 1,000 km) on its domestic network, while offering lower fares, starting at Rs.6,999, for travel up to 1,000 km.

"We are happy to announce this Monsoon Offer for our guests on the domestic sectors. This is one more customer-delight initiative from Jet Airways delivering exceptional value to guests", the company's chief commercial officer, Raj Sivakumar, said in a release on Sunday.

While there is no ceiling on booking period for the 20 percent discount offer, the window for the second scheme is between July 20 and July 31, and the offers are valid for travel on both direct and via flights with travel validity from July 20 to October 15.

Premier, or business class, guests on domestic routes will be able to enjoy fares starting at an all-inclusive Rs.6,999 for distances less than 750 km and Rs.8,999 for distances between 750 and 1,000-km on all its domestic destinations, the airlines said.
