Jet Airways flight suffers bird-hit

A Jet Airways flight from here suffered a bird-hit just before landing at Kathmandu Airport early Monday, an official said.

"The flight - 9W 268 - experienced a bird ingestion on approach. It continued as usual and made a safe and uneventful landing," a Jet spokesperson told IANS.

The airline's engineering team is currently inspecting the Boeing 737 aircraft, the spokesperson added.
