Jharkahnd Governor Draupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Thursday condoled the death of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
"Vajpayee was not leader of the country but popular leader of the world. We will feel void in Indian democratic system after demise of Vajpayee ji," the Governor said in her condolence message.
Chief Minister Das, expressing grief, over the former Prime Minister's death, tweeted: "I have lost fatherly Guru like Vajpayee ji. His contribution will be remembered in Indian democracy. Yugpurush, Bharat Ratna Vajpayee ji ko shat shat naman."
Vajpayee died in Delhi on Thursday following a prolonged illness. He was 93.
