Brazil striker Jo bagged a 17-minute hat-trick to lead Atletico Mineiro to a 3-0 victory over Coritiba in the Campeonato Brasileiro.
The former Manchester City forward netted in the 22nd, 25th and 39th minute as Atletico secured their sixth win of the season even before halftime at the Independencia Stadium, reports Xinhua.
Jo continues his prolific form having scored twice in Brazil's 6-0 rout of Australia Saturday and once in the 'Selecao's' 3-1 victory over Portugal Tuesday.
Atletico are now 10th in Brazil's top-flight standings while Coritiba have slipped to eighth.
In other games Thursday, Flamengo defeated Santos 2-1, Sao Paulo overcame Ponte Preta 1-0 while Internacional drew 2-2 with Vitoria.
