Veteran actress Joan Collins has lashed out at her son Alexander Newley for calling her former husband Anthony Newley a "paedophile".
Collins says Alexander's claim is "absolutely untrue", reports dailymail.co.uk.
"I think that Sacha's (Alexander) being extremely naive and not really knowing the meaning of that word because what Tony (Anthony) admittedly was, is he loved young women and young women of 17, 18, 19 years old. Not children by any means," Collins said on "Good Morning Britain".
"Never in a million years would I have been married to somebody like that. Categorically, I can say that it is not true, that I never saw any of that kind of behaviour from Anthony," she added.
