Singer John Mayer has hired pop star Lady Gaga's former manager Troy Carter, as his new manager.
Mayer parted ways from his manager Michael MCDonald in December 2013, after working with him for 13 years.
Now he is teaming up with Carter, who left Gaga's team in November 2013, reports contactmusic.com.
A source told Rolling Stone that the duo has known each other for years, and this will be the first time Carter will work with a major rock musician.
