Singer Justin Bieber's mother Patti Mallette says no parent would love to see their children get 'roasted'.
In a belated honour of his 21st birthday, Bieber went through a Comedy Central 'Roast' by the likes of Hannibal Buress, Pete Davidson, Ludacris and even Martha Stewart with host Kevin Hart, reports people.com.
When asked on the red carpet at what point it was decided that this was a "good idea", Mallette said: "I personally don't think that this is. I personally think, as a mom, that no mom wants to see their kid get roasted, so I don't love the idea of a roast."
Mallette said Bieber was excited about the Roast and so she came around to support him because she loves him.
"I'm going to be a good sport. It is what it is. I know what I'm coming into; we know what we're expecting, so it's all good," she said.
