Italian football club Juventus have reignited their interest in Brazil international midfielder Everton Ribeiro.
Officials from Ribeiro's club Cruzeiro will meet with Bianconeri counterparts this week to discuss a possible deal during the January transfer period, Brazilian football portal Sambafoot said Monday, reports Xinhua.
Ribeiro won the golden ball awarded to the best player in Brazil's Serie A last year after he led Cruzeiro to their first league title since 2003.
He has continued his impressive form this year as Cruzeiro march towards back-to-back triumphs in Brazil's top flight.
The 25-year-old was rewarded for his consistency by being called up by national coach Dunga for Brazil's friendlies against Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina and Japan in the past two months.
Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the playmaker.
