Ghana's national under-23 team will leave from here Wednesday to play Nigeria in an international friendly Nov 7.
The match will officially open the newly built high-tech Akpa Ibom international Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria, reports Xinhua.
The 'Black Meteors', currently in camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram, will use the match as part of their preparations for the upcoming qualifiers for the All-Africa Games.
Ghana will face Liberia in the first qualifying round qualifier at a-yet-to-be-announced date by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The 'Black Meteors' are defending champions after winning gold at the 2011 Games in Maputo, Mozambique.
Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan is scheduled to attend the grand opening of the stadium with many international football icons such as Brazil's Pele also invited for the occasion.
The 2015 All-Africa Games will be hosted in Brazzaville, Congo.
