Filmmaker M. Manikandan's third Tamil directorial "Aaandavan Kattalai", which features Vijay Sethupathi in the lead, is about the common discrepancies in the issue of passports.
"It's a light-hearted entertainer that throws the spotlight on discrepancies in the passport issuing structure and the various problems we face due to which. The film's last schedule is currently being shot in an embassy set," a source told IANS.
Unlike the National-award winning "Kaaka Muttai", Manikandan's latest film will be a realistic entertainer.
"Although it deals with a very serious issue, the entire film has been treated in an entertaining manner," the source said, adding that actress Ritika Singh plays a very pivotal role in the film.
The film also features actor Yogi Babu from "Kaaka Muttai" and he will be seen in a prominent role.
K has been roped in to compose the tunes.
