Actress Kajal Pisal, best known for her roles in shows like "Bade Achhe Lagte Hain" and "Saath Nibhana Saathiya", says she is taking martial arts lessons.

"I have been investing time on myself by working out learning martial arts and getting more fit," Kajal said in a statement.

Besides that Kajal says she is reading a few scripts and will soon return to the small screen.

"I am waiting for my dream role which will challenge me and give work satisfaction. I want to play a role through which I can explore a new side of me. I am hoping to do a show soon," she added.

Neetu Wadhwa wants to play autistic girl

Actress Neetu Wadhwa says she next wishes to play an autistic girl on the small screen.

"I am looking ahead for my comeback (on TV)," Neetu, who has previously appeared in shows like "Laagi Tujhse Lagan", "Mamta", "Raja Ki Ayegi Barat" and "Yeh Tera Ghar Yeh Mera Ghar", said in a statement.

"I can do a reality show or I am looking for some challenging role which will really require me to act. Would love to play a role like Priyanka Chopra did in 'Barfi'.

"I want to play an autistic girl on the small screen," she added.

Avneet Kaur joins 'Chandra Nandni'

Actress Avneet Kaur has been roped in to play the role of Charumati in popular TV show "Chandra Nandni".

Avneet will be seen as the wife of actor Siddharth Nigam, who plays Bindusara.

"When I auditioned for Charumati, I wasn't sure if I will bag the role. But the makers were very impressed and I started shooting immediately. Siddharth is a great guy and we get along really well. I'm very happy to be back to doing what I love," Avneet said in a statement.

"Chandra Nandni" is aired on Star Plus.
