Debutant director R.S. Prasanna, who is basking in the success of recent Tamil hit "Kalyana Samayal Saadham", feels the film would be apt for a Bollywood remake as the audiences are liberal.
The film, which has been popularised as KSS, is a modern-day romance.
"Thanks to the success of films such as 'Vicky Donor' and 'Delhi Belly', as a creator I feel KSS would be easy to translate into Bollywood material since its audience is more liberal and evolved. Therefore, I feel my film would work much better there," Prasanna told IANS.
He also wants to direct the Bollywood version.
"My producers have been getting some offers and I'm very keen to direct the Hindi version too," he said and added, "I think we shouldn't stop with Bollywood, KSS is also a Hollywood material. I hope it gets remade in Hollywood too".
Prasanna is happy that the film has been unanimously appreciated.
"I realised young ladies have also been enjoying our film with men. This proves that the controversial subject hasn't crossed genders despite the film using naughty humour intermittently in its presentation," he added.
The film has also been picked by PVR Director's Rare and will be released Friday in select cities across India.
