Kamal Nath to take oath as MP CM at Jamboori Maidan

Congress nominee for the Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister's post Kamal Nath will take oath at the Jamboori Maidan here on Monday.

Earlier, when Governor Anandiben Patel had handed a letter of appointment for the top post to Kamal Nath, it was decided to have the oath-taking ceremony at the Lal Parade Ground but the venue was changed a day later.

Congress Media head Shobha Ojha told the media that preparations at Jamboori Maidan are on in full swing. Along with the party's prominent leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, opposition leaders have also been invited.

Earlier, the Bharatiya Janata Party had organised grand programmes at the Jamboori Maidan, now when the Congress has come to power in the state after 15 years, it is all set to have the ceremony here.
