India's Amee Kamani went down fighting to local challenger Jessica Woods in six frames in the final of the Australian Open women's snooker tournament here Sunday.
After losing three frames, Kamani fought back to win the fourth and fifth, but the Aussie played a tight sixth frame that she took on the colours to seal the match 4-2.
Earlier, in the semi-finals, Kamani defeated Jennifer Budd 4-0 while Woods knocked out Indian champion Vidya Pillai 4-2 after losing the first two frames.

Final: Jessica Woods (Aus) bt Amee Kamani (Ind) 4-2: 57-34, 63-50, 81(30)-35, 38-55(23), 17-68(36), 68-42. Semi-finals: Kamani bt Jennifer Budd (Aus) 4-0: 59-34, 60(30)-19, 74(21)-20, 93(50)-50. Woods bt Vidya Pillai (Ind) 4-2: 02-87(27.46), 09-61(24), 64(58)-38(25), 61(21)-29, 75(27)-19, 44-34.
