Rapper Kanye West has asked Apple CEO Tim Cook to give Jay Z his cheque for music service Tidal Now.
West made the demand to make a deal with Jay Z for Tidal via a series of tweets on Saturday, reports variety.com.
"Apple give Jay his check for Tidal now and stop trying to act like you Steve (Jobs)," West wrote.
The tweets confirm earlier reports that Apple is in negotiations to acquire Tidal, the streaming service owned by Jay Z. By the sound of it, the negotiations have hit some roadblocks.
West posted: "This Tidal Apple beef is f**king up the music game. I need Tim Cook, Jay Z, Dez Jimmy, Larry, me and Drake Scooter on the phone or in a room this week."
Since its launch, Tidal has gone through three different CEOs.
