Los Angeles, April 20 (IANS) TV host and socialite Kim Kardashian has settled the terms of her divorce from estranged husband, basketballer Kris Humphries.
A judge in Los Angeles Friday confirmed that the pregnant reality TV star has reached an out-of-court settlement with Humphries after a year-and-a-half battle for divorce, reports thesun.co.uk.
NBA basketballer Humphries was until now refusing to come to a settlement, and he was demanding an annulment of his wedding with Kardashian after alleging that she had duped him in to a fraudulent marriage. But he backed off before they got to a planned trial May 6.
Humphries reportedly changed his mind due to lack of evidence supporting his version of events. Kardashian, who originally filed for divorced in October 2011, was present in court.
The full details of their settlement are yet to be revealed, but it is reported that Humphries, who had previously demanded $7 million, will receive nothing from his former wife, and both sides will pay their own legal fees.
As they announced the end of their marriage, the judge said to Kardashian: "Congratulations on your dissolution."
They wed in August 2011, and announced their split after 72 days of married life.
