Kashmir bank guard foils weapon snatching bid

An alert bank guard on Monday foiled an attempt by three persons to snatch his weapon in Jammu and Kashmir's Badgam district, police said.

The incident took place in Charar-e-Sharief town and was captured on CCTV cameras, police said.

"The alert guard has foiled the weapon snatching attempt by three persons whose CCTV footage is available with us," a police officer said, adding that a manhunt has been launched to nab the culprits and anybody helping in their arrest would be suitably rewarded.
