Four members of a nomad's family were killed in a cloudburst in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Sunday, police said.
Qazi Zakir, his wife and their two children died in an alpine meadow in the higher reaches of Aru in Pahalgam.
The nomads, known as Bakarwals, move up to the meadows in the Kashmir Valley with their livestock during the summer months.
