Adequate security and other arrangements have been made to ensure free and fair re-polling at 38 polling stations in Budgam district in Srinagar parliamentary constituency on Thursday, a senior poll officer said on Wednesday.
State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Shantmanu told a meeting convened to review polling arrangements that the whole poll process at all these polling stations will be videotaped.
Besides, one micro-observer each from central government offices will also be deputed at these polling stations.
The re-polling in Budgam will begin at 7 a.m. and conclude at 4 p.m.
Sunday's polling at these polling stations was disrupted by massive violence in which eight civilians were killed in clashes with the security forces.
