Debutant director Kalyan assures that upcoming Tamil children's drama "Katha Sollaporom" will be the next "Pasanga", which is another critically-acclaimed children's film in the language.
"Like 'Pasanga', my film too will touch many hearts. It's an entertaining children's film that touches upon sensitive issues such as child trafficking. I'm confident that 'Katha Sollaporom' will be another 'Pasanga'," Kalyan told IANS.
Kannada actress Vijayalakshmi has been roped in to essay an important role in the film, which also features Naren and a host of kids.
Kalyan feels children's films too have good market.
"Audiences are only looking for great content. If only hero-centric films are to be made, then films like 'Pasanga', 'Goli Soda' and 'Poovarasam Peepee' wouldn't have been made at the first place. There's market for children's films as well," he said.
