Katie Holmes's daughter has her own style

Actress Katie Holmes says her 10-year-old daughter Suri has her own sense of style.

Holmes shared that Suri, who she has with her former husband Tom Cruise, doesn't look to her mother for style advice, reports usmagazine.com.

"No, absolutely not. She has her own sense of style," Holmes said.

However, Holmes does look to her own mother Kathleen for advice.

She said: "My mom taught me that being true to yourself is beautiful."

But her mother quipped: "I think the girls help me out. They taught me!"
