The campaign intends to clean up the country in five years

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday expressed happiness over the enthusiasm shown by people for the Clean India campaign and said the ongoing momentum will ensure the drive's success.

"I am very happy to see the enthusiasm for Swachh Bharat Mission. We must keep this momentum going for the success of the mission," the Prime Minister tweeted.

Modi had launched the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a nationwide campaign that intends to clean up the country in five years, on October 2.
