Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Thursday sanctioned Rs 1,025.60 crore for Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) at a meeting here.
Khattar said that many development projects have been sanctioned for this Millennium City.
When asked about the proposed project of waste-energy plant in Bandhwari and the fears of people regarding environmental and negative effects on them, Khattar said there is no need to hesitate as the government is implementing all modern technologies that does not have any bad impact on anyone.
The CM said on the advise of experts and outcome of tests, the leachate treatment plant will be established that would not harm people, mammal or even underground water in future.
