Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Monday urged the Indian-American business community to invest in his state in sectors like food processing, pharmaceuticals, information technology, automobile and defence production.
Khattar, who is leading a 19-member delegation of officials and businessmen on a 10-day trip to the US and Canada, made the appeal for investment while participating in the India Independence Day Parade in New York.
The chief minister promised a conducive investment climate with ease-of-doing business and speedy decision-making for investors.
He said the new industrial policy recently announced by his government was pitching for small and medium enterprises and there was big scope to invest in these sectors.
