DMK president M. Karunanidhi Saturday termed as debatable External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid's participation in next week's Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Colombo.
He said it is somewhat comforting that at least Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has "listened to our voice and decided not to participate in CHOGM", scheduled Nov 15-17.
Responding to media queries on the report that Manmohan Singh might not participate in the meeting, Karunanidhi said: "It is somewhat comforting for us that prime minister has respected our voice and decided not to participate in CHOGM."
On the central government's decision that Khurshid would attend the Colombo summit, Karunanidhi said it is debatable.
