Representatives of the US, Britain, France, Russia and China, plus Germany, are consulting with their countries prior to the start of the trilateral talks between Iran, EU, and US on Iran's nuclear programme here Saturday.
The trilateral talks between Iran Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, US Secretary of State John Kerry, and European Union foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton are to resume in Geneva within hours, Iran's official news agency IRNA reports.
The three sides tried to agree on a nuclear deal draft but had to stop their talks after four hours Friday.
Member of the Iranian negotiating team Abbas Araqchi said the talks were good and constructive.
Araqchi said the three sides can make some progress in the talks.
Earlier, Catherine Ashton held discussions with French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius during the talks between the world powers and Iran.
Fabius flew to Geneva to join the talks between the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany and Iran over the latter's controversial nuclear programme.
British Foreign Secretary William Hague, and German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle are also making trips to Geneva to join the talks, which has raised the hope that an interim deal will be made after the negotiations.
