Actresses Kiersey Clemons, Lucy Boynton and singer Rita Ora are reportedly contending to play the female lead in the film "The Flash".
Warner Bros Pictures and director Rick Famuyiwa are on the lookout for a female lead for the project, reports aceshowbiz.com.
Clemons, who previously starred in Famuyiwa's "Dope", is the director's top choice to star as Iris West, the leading lady in the Ezra Miller-starring superhero film, while Ora and Boynton too are among the contenders to play the journalist and love interest of Barry Allen aka The Flash.
Famuyiwa replaced Seth Grahame-Smith, who dropped out of the project due to creative differences, as director for "The Flash" movie in June.
The film will be co-produced by Alex Gartner, Geoff Johns, Dan Mazer and Charles Roven.
