Reality TV star Kim Kardashian recently tried to escape pursuing paparazzi by pulling over on the freeway but it reportedly resulted in traffic chaos.
As many as five cars were following Kim and once she pulled over, the photographers jumped out of their vehicles and attempted to get pictures of her despite being in the middle of a busy freeway at the time, reports tmz.com.
A paparazzi helicopter was even hovering overhead.
The paparazzi chaos is said to have caused a long traffic jam.
Law enforcement sources said that the paparazzi endangered multiple lives with their risky photography, including Kim's, other drivers on the road and the officers involved.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) cited one photographer for speeding but the rest got away.
According to sources, the CHP is now looking into the incident further to see if the case can be sent for prosecution.
A source said, "They're not getting away with this."
Kim didn't get away scot-free either - she too was cited for speeding.
