Davy Klaassen has extended his contract at Ajax to mid-2018, the Amsterdam based club announced.
The 21-year-old midfielder made his debut for Ajax in November 2011, but a knee injury hampered his development last season, reports Xinhua.
This season Klaassen returned to a regular starting spot and became one of the driving forces behind the success of the current league leaders.
He has scored nine goals in 22 league matches this season. In March this year, Klaassen made his debut for Dutch national team in their 0-2 loss to France in Paris.
