Superstar Rajinikanth-starrer Tamil period-drama "Kochadaiiyaan" has been passed with a U-certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification.
Directed by the southern matinee idol's daughter Soundarya Ashwin, the film, touted to be India's first motion capture photo-realistic 3D animated movie, is slated to release April 11 worldwide.
"'Kochadaiiyaan' has been censored with U-certificate," Rajinikanth's manager posted on his Twitter page.
It also features Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, R. Sarath Kumar, Shobana, Aadi Pinisetty, Nasser and Rukmini in important roles.
"Kochadaiiyaan" is jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global.
