Television presenter Kris Jenner says she prefers to be the "best friend" of estranged husband Bruce Jenner.
Kris, 57, and Bruce, 64, started living separately recently after 22 years of marriage.
"Everything happens for a reason. I was so blessed to meet Bruce. We will remain best friends. I'd rather have him in my life as a friend than not in my life at all," radaronline.com quoted Kris as saying.
Talking about their split, Kris said they started treating each other in an unhealthy manner and this is an attempt to make things better.
"We are better people and happier just spending time apart than we are spending time together. We decided this was best for our family," said Kris.
