Actress Kriti Sanon says shaving can be a smooth sail for women if done with the right technique to get the best results.
"I thoroughly believe that shaving is the best way of hair removal as it's the most convenient and hassle free of all the methods. Women simply need to know the right technique of shaving to get the best results," Kriti said in a statement.
The actress, who ventured into Bollywood with "Heropanti" opposite Tiger Shroff, busted myths around shaving in an interactive panel discussion along with aesthetic physician Rashmi Shetty and make-up artist Namrata Soni, organised by Gillette Venus, here on Friday.
The panel shared their expertise and enlightened women on the techniques of shaving and vouched for shaving being one of the most hassle free methods of female hair removal.
Shetty took the platform of the "educative session" to talk abut how shaving doesn't lead to darkening of skin.
"Many of whom I have interacted with believe that shaving will make their skin become darker or that their hair would grow faster and thicker which is why they refrain from it. However, in reality hair growth is determined by one's genetic and hormonal makeup," Shetty said.
While Soni said that "shaving helps in maintaining the health of the skin by keeping it soft, smooth and in exfoliating the skin, as well".
The session also witnessed discussion between the audience and panel members, where personal experiences was shared at a common platform.
