Kunal associate arrested in Saradha scam
A senior executive of chit fund aided Saradha media was arrested Saturday night in connection with the multi-crore scam.
Somnath Dutta, a close associate of suspended Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha member Kunal Ghosh, was nabbed from his Salt Lake residence, police said.
The arrest came hours after Ghosh was placed under suspension by the Trinamool Congress on grounds of discipline.
Dutta was a vice-president of Saradha Media.
