DreamWorks Animation and 20th Century Fox have advanced the release date of "Kung Fu Panda 3" from March 18 next year to January 29.
The third instalment in the popular computer-animated action comedy franchise will see Jack Black returning to reprise the voice of lovable Panda Po. Other voice actors include Bryan Cranston, Rebel Wilson and Seth Rogen, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
The sequel of 2011 film "Kung Fu Panda 2" was originally slated for release on December 23 later this year, but it was moved to March 2016 after the release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was set for six days earlier, on December 18.
The new date sets the 3D family film up against "The 5th Wave", starring Chloe Grace Moretz, and "The Finest Hours".
