Actress Gauahar Khan, who was earlier in a relationship with actor Kushal Tandon, has wished him success for his new show "Beyhadh".

"'Beyhadh' is fresh, well shot, with a new approach to television. I wish them luck to continue with creating a good watch," Gauahar said in a statement.

"I watched the first episode, all actors have done a good job. Special mention for Kushal, I think a role like this is tailor-made for him. He is doing complete justice to Arjun's character. I wish him more success," she added.

The duo was seen together on popular reality show "Bigg Boss 7".

In "Beyhadh", Kushal is seen as a photographer.

Apart from him, the Sony Entertainment Television show, which started on October 11, also features Jennifer Winget and Aneri Vajani.

'Nagarjun' role takes a toll on Pearl V Puri's eyes

The lead role of Arjun, a 'Naag' warrior in the popular TV show "Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha" is taking a toll on actor Pearl V Puri's eyes as he is asked to wear thick green-coloured lenses.

The lenses are specially made for Pearl and are very thick as compared to normal lenses.

"I have been shooting action sequences everyday with a blurred vision. However, things got serious recently when my visibility became very low, almost nil due to wearing these thick lenses for at least 12 hours everyday," Pearl said in a statement.

"Hence, I had to visit a doctor who has advised me to put eye drops at regular intervals, keep my eyes moisturised and not wear the lenses for 12 straight hours as my eyes too need to breathe."

"It is not easy getting into the 'Naag' look, however with challenges also comes satisfaction and right now I am on cloud nine as I am getting to play Arjun, the warrior," he added.

Actor Anshuman Malhotra was earlier playing the role. He was seen as young Arjun.

The Life OK show also features Nikitin Dheer and Pooja Banerjee.
