American fashion designer L'Wren Scott has teamed up with retailer Banana Republic for her first high street collection.

The designer, who creates versatile and classic pieces, will launch a 50-piece range, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

"Through the collection, we were able to bring our shared vision to life and the end result is a capsule we're both so proud to call our own," said Scott.

"It beautifully combines the ultra-feminine with wearable polish and will bring a sexy confidence to our consumers," she added.

The collection will feature fitted jackets, jeans with flower prints, shift dresses and blouses. It is expected to be available in selected stores and online from Dec 5 onwards.
