Lalit Sen collaborates with Udit Narayan for TV show

Lalit Sen, popular for being one half of Bollywood's once popular music composer duo Jatin-Lalit, has joined hands with ace singer Udit Narayan to compose the title track for forthcoming TV show "Bhakton Ki Bhakti Mein Shakti".

"My composition for the title track of 'Bhakton Ki Bhakti Mein Shakti' is very different from my usual compositions. The title of the show is not very musical but once I finished composing, all I could think of while deciding upon the singer of the track was no one other than Udit Narayan," Sen said in a statement.

"And proving me right, Udit actually did justice to the song and made it much more melodious. After we were finished with the song, Udit called me the next day to say that the song is stuck in his head, which I think is the biggest compliment," he added.

"Bhakton Ki Bhakti Mein Shakti", which will be aired on Life OK starting Saturday, will feature stories of common people in today's time who have overcome great obstacle through their immense faith in god.

The show will be hosted by actor Sourabh Raaj Jain.
