Socialite Khloe Kardashian's decision to file divorce papers didn't surprise American basketball player Lamar Odom as he had reportedly "expected" it.
Khloe filed for divorce from Odom Friday.
"Lamar expected this," a source close to the National Basketball Association player, 34, told usmagazine.com.
"He's fine with it. He just wants it over swiftly and smoothly now. He's had time to come to terms with it," the source added.
Khloe filed legal documents Friday afternoon in L.A. Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for divorce.
The couple married in 2009, but the two have living separately over the last several months following revelations of Odom's drug use and cheating.
