Marking its entry into the notebook segment, domestic mobile manufacturing company Lava on Thursday launched 'Helium 14'.
The notebook for which the company has collaborated with Microsoft and global chip maker Intel is designed to offer a productive, simplified and user-friendly experience.
"The launch of Helium 14 as a handy device for smart business owners, young professionals and students reiterates our commitment to continued innovation and is a testimony to the fact that we understand consumer needs," said Gaurav Nigam, Product Head, Lava.
Powered by Intel 'Atom' processors, Helium 14 features 14.1-inch Full HD display and a 2 megapixel camera. The notebook has 32 GB storage with an option to expand further to 128GB via SD card.
The device weighing 1.4 kg runs on the Windows 10 platform and is packed with a 10,000 mAh battery to provide all day usage.
Lava Helium 14, priced at Rs 14,999, has been launched online exclusively on Flipkart on Thursday, and will soon be available at select retail stores from the first week of July, the company said.
