Karnataka will strictly enforce the law against those aiming to create trouble irrespective of their status, Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy said here on Monday.
"We will enforce the law strictly.....whoever may be the person," he told reporters.
The Chief Minister was asked to respond to a statement by Hindu Sriram Sene chief Muthalik that why should (Prime Minister) Narendra Modi react when a dog dies in Karnataka.
He was referring to the killing of rationalist Lankesh Gauri by people allegedly with links to the Sangh Parivar and the criticism by Congress and intellectuals who were questioning Modi's silence on the issue.
