Actress Jennifer Lawrence and filmmaker Steven Spielberg have been roped in by Warner Bros for the upcoming movie "It's What I Do: A Photographer's Life of Love and War".
The studio won the rights for the film at a whirlwind auction on Monday.
Based on a memoir by Lynsey Addario, the story of film is about a war photographer Lynsey Addario as she "goes into the most dangerous places in the world in search of truth." Lawrence is tapped to play the lead character, reports deadline.com.
While other cast members were not announced, it has been reported that a number of actresses have been eyeing the feature, including Reese Witherspoon, Natalie Portman, and Margot Robbie.
Lawrence is currently shooting for her new film "Joy".
Meanwhile, Spielberg is on board directing a Cold War thriller, "St. James Place", starring Tom Hanks, which will release on October 16.
